Shareholders only Financial report and shareholder gifts
Shareholder Report
Thank you to all our shareholders for your continued support. We would like to report on our 18th fiscal year (until the end of February 2024), our business plan for this fiscal year, and shareholder gifts.

18th Financial Report
Sales revenue was 380 million yen, an increase of 15% from the previous year, operating profit, which represents the profit from the company's core business, was 7 million yen, and net income before tax was 14 million yen, both increasing revenue.
The results were influenced by a 30% reduction in material costs due to the development of new material suppliers. The number of cypress lumber manufacturers, the main material of the prefecture, aging and going out of business is on the rise, so by strengthening cooperation with businesses outside the prefecture, the quality was improved, a stable supply was achieved, and costs were reduced. In terms of sales breakdown, corporate sales increased 40% (140 million) compared to the previous year, and individual sales increased 2% (226 million), with the largest increase being in sales of furniture for nurseries. It is speculated that this is due to increased awareness due to detailed updates to the website and the opening of a physical store in Kichijoji.

19th Business Plan
The theme for this term is "Breaking Away from Stability Thinking." Every year we take on new challenges, and this year we began renewing our website, switching over to the new site in early May. The reason for the renewal was that we had issues such as "Many customers are browsing the site, but they are not making a purchase" and "We are unable to provide customers with specific information about delivery dates." After the renewal, we have also changed the appearance, and are now able to provide more accurate information to customers. Please take a look.

In addition, in order to shorten delivery times, we will add a furniture manufacturing base to our Mitoyo Factory. By installing new equipment, we will proceed with production at two bases, Kochi and Mitoyo.
Even if we are not currently in a difficult situation, when we think about how to improve things, we are required to break away from the current familiar situation. This is stressful for me and for our employees. However, by upgrading what we have built up, we will be able to provide better services to our customers and deliver better products more quickly.
We hope you will continue to keep an eye on Nakayoshi Library's developments and appreciate your continued support.
