Fewer interruptions in business negotiations and smoother communication with customers

Fuji Subaru Ota Store, located in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, is an authorized dealership that boasts one of the largest showrooms in Japan, offering new car sales and after-sales service for Subaru vehicles. The store aims to be a place that caters to local customers, and also provides attentive service to customers with children.
We spoke with Yanai, a showroom attendant who actually deals with the products on site.
Q: Was there anything that impressed you about having a wooden kids' room?
"All the items made from cypress are really cute. They have no sharp edges and are smooth to the touch, so even small children can play with them safely. There's no need to worry about babies getting hurt when using them, so they're very popular with parents too."
Q: Have there been any specific changes since the Kids Room was introduced?
"With the addition of the wooden kids' room, children can now spend long periods of time there having fun and not get bored. Parents can also see their children playing safely and relax while they wait for business meetings or maintenance." The kids' room is more than just a play area; it enhances the warmth of the entire store.
Q: Have you ever received a particularly memorable response from a customer?
While their children are engrossed in playing, the parents can now proceed with business negotiations and inspections without worry. "Previously, our children would get bored and we would have to stop the negotiations by saying, 'We'll try again,' but now we hardly have to worry about that."
Also, because there are so many customers, it's common to see children playing together. It's a space where children of all ages can have fun.
