Mt. Rokko Nature Experience Event

六甲山自然体験イベント

Last month, on November 3rd (Culture Day), we held a nature experience activity event on Mt. Rokko.

Maybe it's because I've been a good person (lol) but the weather was beautiful and sunny!!

On a beautiful autumn day, 12 groups of customers, staff from Netz Toyota Kobe, staff from Tsudoi Hiroba Muskari, and photographer Fuji-chan all climbed the mountain full of energy.

We gathered at the trailhead and introduced ourselves (^^♪

It's a 2km walk to the activity site.

We all had a great time walking around and picking up nuts and leaves.

The time you spend walking while carefully observing the various plants and natural scenery is an indescribably enriching experience.

Every time I hear children and parents say, "Wow, it's so pretty," or "What is this?"

I feel like I've found a treasure.

Even fallen leaves, which I don't usually pay much attention to, make me want to put them in my pocket and take them home when I see them colored red and yellow.

Whenever I found a good looking acorn or leaf, I would sneak it into the children's collection bag while walking along. (laughs)

The staff members from Muskari Gathering Square who participated this time are called "play teachers" and are professionals at conveying play.

They made various preparations to help us enjoy the natural experience.

The children were taking the quiz prepared by the play teacher seriously to find out what autumn is!

We all took a leisurely walk along the mountain paths of Mt. Rokko, which are filled with greenery.

And one of the most fun parts of mountain climbing is taking breaks!

Why are the sweets we eat at this time so delicious?

Along the way, you can play by throwing stones at ponds and searching for strange creatures in the water.

There's plenty to do in nature, so the kids stay very busy.

The staff at Netz Toyota Kobe usually sell cars, but this time they put their heart and soul into collecting acorns and carrying luggage. (Thank you!!!!)

Now, this is where the real action begins!

Once we arrived safely at the activity site, we put acorns and leaves we had picked up into the photo frames we had prepared to create our own original frames.

We usually hold workshops using only wood, but this was our first attempt at holding a workshop where participants could freely attach nuts and other materials.

I was worried about what would happen...

Amazing kids!!

By skillfully using a variety of items, you can create unique works of art.

We all stuck the nuts we picked up onto the signboard for the photo shoot.

We have created a wonderful sign that could only be made today.

When I looked at the photos again, I felt that this group photo would be a treasured memory for the rest of my life.

I'm grateful to the photographer Fuji-chan for capturing these wonderful memories in photos.

Thank you very much to all the customers and staff who participated (^^♪

* * Conclusion * *

We handle, manufacture and sell wood, but what is usually visible is only a small part of it.

Behind the products we create, there is a lot of intangible time and emotion flowing.

The time it takes for a tree to grow slowly over decades in nature, the excitement of creating something, and the love for a piece that has been lovingly crafted.

We thought it would be great to be able to experience these important things that cannot be expressed in a tangible form together with our customers, so we held this event.

I hope that each and every one of the guests who participated will have something that will stay in their hearts.
