At Nakayoshi Library, we carefully craft each product ordered by our customers. We do not keep any inventory, so we create each item according to the customer's name after we receive an order. Each process is divided up by craftsmen, and it takes more than 10 craftsmen to make one piece of furniture.
Since not all products are made by one craftsman, maintaining quality is of utmost importance. We work together with each craftsman to ensure that the finished product is consistent with the skill of each individual craftsman.

Creating the feelings you want to convey to your loved ones
Of course, we want our customers to be happy when they receive our products, and the rounded corners make them safe and secure, but more than anything, we make them with care so that they say, "It's even better in person than it looks in the photos!" and "It's better than I imagined!"
A common feature of all Nakayoshi Library products is that they are smooth to the touch no matter where you touch them. It's so smooth that you'll want to rub your cheek against it. This texture is felt even on the backs of furniture and insides where books are stored and hidden from view.
Manufacturing process
After processing the parts with an NC machine, we do a trial assembly. Since we use real wood, if the wood is warped it may not fit properly. It also depends on the humidity. Natural materials are difficult to handle.
We also use small machines to make parts.
The blades of the machine are also changed depending on the processing.
First, I polish the parts before assembly using a machine I have.
The corners of the inner partition are polished cleanly.

This is the extent of the polishing that goes on before the boards are assembled. We polish them carefully and without cutting corners so that children can feel good no matter where they touch them!
The finished furniture is smooth in all directions, 360 degrees. It's so smooth that when you pass by it, you'll want to reach out and touch it.
Once assembly is complete, the painting process begins.
When natural paint is applied, the polished wood surface takes on a glossy shine.
Wipe the wood thoroughly, allowing the cleaner to penetrate, making sure not to leave any residue behind.
Even after the paint has dried, it will continue to absorb moisture and the fuzzy wood surface will be further sanded down.
Finally, the item is carefully packed. Each product is hand-crafted by a person in charge of each process, creating furniture that will last a lifetime.
