A newly built apartment in Kobe City. Today I'm delivering to a car dealership that I've been using a lot.
As per the customer's request to keep the dining space compact, we created a long and narrow counter in front of the kitchen.

However!! Even though it is long and narrow, if you place them facing each other, it will become a 900cm wide dining table. It is convenient to change the arrangement when dining with three or more people.
This custom-made dining table has a depth of 450 mm. The counter height is set at a high 730 mm for the tall couple. The legs have adjusters at the bottom, so it can be raised to 750 mm.
The counter table is very simply made, but the boards are 30mm thick to give it strength. We used knot-free cypress laminated lumber to prevent warping, and we also carefully designed the size and position of the fascia that supports the table top so that you can work at your desk with your legs crossed.
