New business.

新たな事業。

Hello. I have a long weekend starting tomorrow. I will be refraining from going out, but I am very happy to hear that it is a long weekend. I will be putting my heart and soul into the things I want to do during this long weekend, so it looks like it will be a very busy and fun holiday. I am excited. In the end, it is just an extension of work (laughs).

Yesterday, I went to Kobe to deliver something for the first time in about a month since the Kobe store closed. While we hear the phrase "avoid unnecessary outings" every day, this was an urgent job , so I made the delivery with the utmost care.

Yobo no Haisha in Kobe is scheduled to open next month. They are a dentist, but they focus on prevention rather than treatment. So, they wanted to create a kids' room that children could enjoy. In response to their request, we proposed a kids' room.

Nakayoshi Library

Apparently the previous building was also a dentist's office, so they used the space as is. The kids' room is compact, at about 10 tatami mats, but they made full use of wood, including solid wood flooring and cypress walls.

And we want to teach children how to brush their teeth through play. So we're making toothbrush toys, original wooden vegetables, cakes, and lots of bread.

I've expanded my rental options.

In fact, the dentist in this case did not purchase the product, but rather signed a two-year rental contract .

Until now, we have simply delivered the products. Instead of lending out the products , we at Nakayori Library will be maintaining and disinfecting the products, and replacing them periodically if they are damaged, during the contract. This is the first of our memorable efforts to provide this service .

What are the benefits to businesses?

Some of you may be thinking, "Isn't it better to buy a product?" But the reality is, for example, dentists are having trouble with this sort of thing...

  • We want to attract customers by being different from other companies. We want to differentiate ourselves.
  • We want to reduce the time and effort involved in damaging and replacing toys.
  • I don't know how to take care of the toys hygienically or what kind of space I should create.

These are just a few of the problems we can solve, but Nakayoshi Library will offer solutions to all of these problems, visit you regularly, and maintain, disinfect, replace, exchange, repair, and redecorate your items!! This is our service.

Other obvious benefits for dentists include dramatically reduced initial investment and the ability to receive original products tailored to each customer, something that would not be possible with commercially available toys .

For example, for this episode of "The Nurse" we created a mobile to hang from the ceiling upon request.

One of the benefits of this is that we want to make changing the items with each season a fun experience for customers who visit the store. That was the reason for introducing it. Since the store cannot move to another location, if there is a system like this that allows the contents to be easily changed, the business can change things up every time and it is easy to announce it to customers.

In the future, we plan to propose this wood-scented kids' room not only to dentists, but also to car dealerships, nursery schools, housing exhibitions, and more.

We believe that if even a small amount of domestic timber can be returned to Japan in the form of toys and furniture for children's playgrounds and homes, it will contribute to improving Japan's timber supply and demand ratio and creating healthy and safe living environments, which will lead to a greater understanding of the value of our work.

That's how we started our new Nakayoshi Library rental business. Times are tough for brick-and-mortar stores these days, but we want to overcome them with wisdom and ingenuity.

Well then~
