Make a small kids' room attractive
This is Netz Toyota Kobe's fifth store to introduce a wooden kids room. The latest kids room is at the Netz Terrace Suzurandai store in Kita-ku, Kobe.
We moved to a new building and opened in January 2022. The kids' room is on the second floor. We delivered an activity board to the kids' space, which is about 6 tatami mats in size .
Wall-mounted play equipment that can be used creatively
Next to the business meeting table is a well-equipped kids' room of about 6 tatami mats. The theme is "Play with your own ideas!" We proposed to put an activity board on the wall.
The flooring is made of cedar panels from Gifu Prefecture. They are cushioned, so children can play on them to their heart's content. They are laid vertically and horizontally in an alternating pattern, creating a very beautiful checkered pattern.
Of course, in addition to the activity board, we also have toy shelves , play kitchens, round tables , and other play equipment and toys to suit the children who visit us.
There is an activity board in front of the kids' room. When they are not playing on the wooden rails, they can draw pictures on the whiteboard. The types of activities are not limited to one pattern, but can be changed according to the season and how busy the place is.
Flow of implementation
First, we will submit a proposal like the one above. Nakayoshi Library offers the Kids Room as a flat-rate service , so the content will change every year from the initial proposal . We also hold regular workshops. You can use the Kids Room and parent-child experience events together.
All flooring and wall-mounted play equipment in the kids' room will be installed by Nakayoshi Library itself.
The color of the wood stands out beautifully in the bright white space. The scent of the wood fills the space, making the atmosphere warmer.
