Nakayoshi Library Mitoyo Factory Tour

なかよしライブラリー三豊工場ツアー

As of today, the OS on the Panasonic Let's Note (laptop computer) I bought when I was working previously has stopped opening. Thank you for your hard work. This tragedy happened when I was working hard on financial statements and preparing for the beginning of the fiscal year. And today, the straps on my favorite geta sandals broke. I'm the type of person who gets worried about things like this.

Customers at the Nakayoshi Library Mitoyo Factory

Well, last week. A customer came from Kobe to the Mitoyo Toy Factory. Mr. O and his family are regular customers of the Kobe store. For several months, his son, Haruki, had been saying that he wanted to go to the Nakayoshi Library Toy Factory. Today, their wish came true and they went on a two-day, one-night trip to Kagawa.

Since I had the chance, I gave him a little tour around Kagawa, even though I'm from Kochi and don't know much about the area. First, we went to eat Sanuki udon, a specialty of Kagawa.

About 15 minutes away from the factory is [Sonshin]. They have a wide variety of delicious side dishes. *Next, we head to Gakkou Strawberry Farm, located next to the Mitoyo Toy Factory.

Here you can eat as many strawberries as you want for 40 minutes. Haruki came out of the house. His stomach was so full I wondered how many strawberries he had eaten. It seems like they were really delicious. After that, we went inside the school building and tried making chopsticks.

Making chopsticks

At first, he struggled with the plane for the first time, but as he got used to it, he was able to whittle by himself, making a nice whoosh sound. He's a quick learner! He has good skills. He's only just turned 4, and there aren't many children who can whittle, but he's been practicing with a toy plane regularly, so it's no wonder (^^♪

Haruki loves Robot-kun from Nakayoshi Library. He drew a portrait of Robot-kun for all the craftsmen at the toy factory in Mitoyo. Thank you so much.

Toy and furniture craftsmen often have to face themselves on a daily basis. When customers come to the factory like this, it's a different kind of stimulation from the usual. And above all, it's the moment when you feel that the products we make have reached the hearts of children.

So, Haruki-kun, thank you for coming all the way from far away to visit us (^^♪ Everyone was so happy! (^^)!

On the second day, it seems they enjoyed visiting places like Mt. Konpira ♪ Just looking at Haruki's big smile in this photo is comforting.

O-san and Haruki-kun, thank you so much for coming all the way from so far away **See you again in Kobe☆

Today we were introduced to a wonderful customer who came from Kobe. See you again.
