Last weekend, we built our own rocket stove. We decided to donate it to the company. So, today, we're all having a work meal together!

It's lunchtime, so I prepare some scraps and light the fire right away! Today's menu is ramen with two kinds of local vegetables picked that morning that I bought at a nearby supermarket that was recently renovated and has become very easy to navigate. Adding vegetables is the least I can do to take care of my body.

Ignition!!!

The good thing about the Rocket Man is that it quickly heats up the pot when you light it. In other words, it can make ramen for four people during a one-hour lunch break, and you can have time to chat while it heats up and eat.

Here it comes, here it comes!! Flames are rising from the bottom of the pot. At the same time, a lot of soot is coming out.

Once the water boils, I add the noodles. I feel a little guilty about using instant noodles, but I tell myself that it's just for today. I usually drink green juice and eat vegetables properly.

I dropped in some freshly picked vegetables (spinach, bean sprouts) this morning. Next I'll drop in some eggs...

The nabeyaki ramen is done. It took about 20 minutes, but it looks delicious. *The only fuel is wood. You can enjoy your meal with an eco-stove.*

This art is definitely a man's meal. If a woman did it, it would be a much more Instagram-worthy photo lol
At Nakayoshi Library, we are thinking about how to use scrap wood. We could use it as fuel or something. Ideally, we would like to use it to start a small business, but rather than just throwing it away, we want to make the most of it. That's why we use this eco-stove, the Rocket Man, to cook our meals.
