Since June, I have been working at the head office in Kochi Prefecture. Every day when I come into the office, I feel great with the wonderful smell of cypress. Our headquarters in Kochi actually doesn't have any air conditioning in the factory, so it's very hot... The office is air-conditioned so it's cool for me, but I want to make things a little more comfortable for the workers. We installed shade netting on the ceiling and added more fans. The airflow in the factory has improved and it feels cooler, but... The room temperature right now is 33°C!! hot…!! This is a factory located in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, that mainly produces toys. The toys from Nakayoshi Library are really wonderful, aren't they? One of the reasons I wanted to join Nakayoshi Library was that I really loved designing toys and furniture. When you enter the factory in Kagawa Prefecture, you see a long corridor like this. Yes! This is a closed elementary school. It was a wonderful school and the moment I entered I felt like a kid again. It was so much fun that I couldn't help but grin when I had my picture taken (lol) Please come and visit us! There is a perfect air conditioner here, so don't worry.
