The 2022 Nakayoshi Library is off to a great start. The first morning assembly of the year was an opportunity for everyone to gather and announce their goals for the year. They all said they wanted to have a healthy year without any injuries, go home without overtime, improve their skills, try things other than assembly, etc. It looks like this year will be a year of trying all sorts of different things (for tigers, lol).

Well, my goal for this year is to buy a mountain ! Not because camping is popular, but because I want to prepare for a few years from now to be able to do everything in-house , from felling trees to sawing, drying, processing, assembly, and shipping . It will be a first for both me and the company! I look forward to working with you again this year.
Ending 2021 with a year-end party
The last year ended with a year-end party at the company. Since it was the N-1 Grand Prix (N = pot), we divided into a manufacturing team, an office team, and a painting and packaging team and competed with handmade pots. It was a year-end party like no other! The shipping area was a stylish cafe? It looked like it.

This time, the painting and packaging team was in charge of the event. We all wore matching T-shirts, and we even had a host and a prize. Thank you for making this event so special!

Now, it's time for each team to present their hotpot!!

The painting and packaging team brought us sea bream hotpot! It was a delicious hotpot with bonito broth and the delicious flavor of sea bream!! Soseki caught it in Aki City and filleted it himself. By the way, it came with sea bream rice.

The manufacturing and assembly team chose Motsunabe (offal hotpot)! It was rich and full of garlic, and looked incredibly delicious!! It even came with a bowl of ramen for the final course.

The office team decided on duck hotpot! They spent the entire budget on duck meat, and sourced the rest from nearby farms and their own farms.
Judging!! Every hotpot is so delicious! The judging criteria are appearance, taste, and whether it is enjoyable from start to finish. There are various judging criteria. The level is quite high.

By the way, the other sea bream that Muneishi caught was made into sea bream rice. Mai, a registered dietitian, made this delicious sea bream rice with kelp stock! There were eight servings, but it was all sold out! It was so delicious that I wondered how much it would cost to eat it at a traditional Japanese restaurant.
Already a winner!! lol

Well, it's finally time to announce the results!! Mai was the judge!
The winner was the painting and packaging team who made Thai hotpot! Everything was delicious, but the team was recognized for the way it was well planned from start to finish, and for the way it changed into various flavors. The first N (Hotpot) Grand Prix went to the [Painting and Packaging Team]! Congratulations! I wonder what kind of plan they'll have for next year's year-end party... I'm looking forward to it.
Let's have fun again this year! See you soon!
