The other day, we held a watch-making workshop at Kita no Kita Nagaya in Nakatsu, Osaka.
This shop has different vendors on a daily basis.
North Nagaya in Kita
This time, it was a collaboration event with "cocotoast", a cafe that serves kaya toast. Kaya toast is a Singaporean dish that is a staple breakfast food. It's a delicious sandwich with sweet kaya jam and butter in between! If you eat it with a soft-boiled egg, you can enjoy the change in taste and it's absolutely delicious.
After enjoying the delicious kaya toast, we will have a watch-making workshop under the autumn sky!
Choose your favorite parts and paste them on. Even if the number is the same, the color will be different depending on the wood species, so it's fun to choose ♪
Your one-of-a-kind original watch is complete!
It seems that the little one likes vehicles, as the second hand has an airplane part that ticks away ✈ By the way, the hour and minute hands are also made of wood.
My mom worked really hard polishing it.
In addition to making clocks, we also made coasters.

Choose a coaster made from your favorite wood species, write letters or draw pictures on it with a hot pen, and you're done.
I had a great time talking passionately about wood with the customers.
I would like to continue holding events where people can get in touch with wood!
