Nakayoshi Library Kobe store is currently renovating the second floor.
The playroom that was at the back of the first floor has been moved to the second floor!! From now on, it will be available for use in a spacious space☆ Here is the progress so far.

Cedar is a soft material, so children can play with it safely. It scratches easily, but the more you use it, the smoother the surface will become!
Brand new cedar boards. I'm looking forward to seeing how they will change with everyone who comes to visit.
Once the COVID-19 situation calms down, we plan to hold events little by little in the space on the second floor. We are planning content that everyone can enjoy related to child-rearing and trees!

Tada! This is a corner where children can experience the thrill of being on the net. Adults can have fun too.
As children become more active around the age of two or three, we begin to incorporate wooden play equipment such as climbing frames, ladders and slides to encourage their development.
When I watch the children who come to the store, I see that they love stairs for some reason. They play endlessly, climbing up and down the stairs. It must be hard for their mothers to accompany them, but I wish we could do something about the stairs that the children who come to the playroom climb every time.
We plan to turn one corner into a cafe space so that families can relax. We hope that mothers who don't usually have time to have tea can also relax here.
First floor space
By the way, the space on the first floor has also been redecorated! A magnificent single piece of cedar board is placed in the center as the main feature. It is estimated to be about 200 years old!
