Last weekend, we participated in the Netz Toyota Kobe GR Driving event in Osaka. We provided a booth in the kids' room where parents and children could relax together.
This year, all the big events in town have been cancelled, so I'm really happy to be able to take part in an event like this under the blue sky. I usually go back and forth between my home and the factory, so it's great to be able to change my environment a little.
It's also a great opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally meet.

Mr. Takehara is a professional racing driver. On this day, he will be drifting with a customer in the passenger seat. * Click here for the official website of Shozo Takehara
As for our kids' booth, there were lots of kids playing there, it was so lively and busy!!

I was a little worried that the wooden balls would be thrown at the cars around us, but the children were playing without any worries. Small children played in the wooden ball pool and in the plaza with the cypress floor.

Car-making workshops also held

This time, since it was a Netz Toyota Kobe event, Nakayoshi Workshop also held a "Let's Make a Car Experience". Apply glue to the tires, hammer them in with a hammer, and you're done! It's easy and takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Of course, we have a lineup of popular Toyota cars. This is a masterpiece by Mr. Kuwada, a former car dealer. He came all the way from Kagawa to help us out on the day.
At the event, a Mini 4WD tournament was also held, with the best drivers who had won at each Nets store competing in a tournament. The majority of the participants were children, but they were all too fast...

I used to play it when I was little too. Mini 4WD is still very popular. This analog toy is popular with both children and adults. It makes sense when you see how exciting the tournaments are.
Well, from now on we will be holding a "Car Building Workshop" at the Nakayoshi Library Kobe store too, so for more details please check the Kobe store's Instagram ♪ Please come along.
