Nursery School Introduction

In November 2019, we delivered wooden childcare furniture to a corporate-run nursery school in Shijonawate City, Osaka Prefecture.

The building is slightly different from traditional childcare facilities, as it is a homely facility with a warm, family-like atmosphere where children can be cared for every day while their childhood is treasured .

In addition to this nursery school, they also operate another nursery school nearby, a Type A continuing employment support facility, and a group home for assisted living.

From order to delivery

We first heard about this in August. We actually visited the nursery school several times and interviewed the director, Mr. Higuchi, and the nursery teachers to hear about daily childcare methods and requests.

After that, based on the customer's requests, we made an estimate and drew up drawings, and delivered and installed the product ourselves using our own vehicle three months later in November.

Enriching play

You can start using the Bonbon Car when your child starts to stand up, and play house when they reach the age of 2. Having multiple cars instead of just one will expand the scope of play stories.

The contents of the playhouse (plates, knives, spoons, cups) are also made from wood.

Delivery of custom-made furniture

At Nakayoshi Library , we also make custom-made products to meet the needs of each kindergarten. This is our strength, unlike major manufacturers or mass-producers.

This time we made a chair with a table and a diaper changing station.

During the on-site meeting, the nursery teacher in charge discussed the installation location and desired size, and we later created it while checking the drawings.

Of course, the finish is the same as that of a ready-made product, with a natural oil coating and rounded edges that do not require cushioning material, making it exceptionally comfortable to the touch.

Wooden interior space

The building has cedar flooring and cedar pillars. The cypress furniture is a perfect match for the warm atmosphere of the room. The scent of wood when you open the door is soothing.

Wood education promotion project to interact with trees

Osaka Prefecture promotes the "Wood Education Promotion Project" targeting child-rearing facilities such as kindergartens, nursery schools, and certified child care centers, and to that end provides subsidies to those who carry out the projects.
