A warm and welcoming environment in the city
The nursery school is located on the second to fourth floors of the Shinkin Bank. When you take the elevator up, you are greeted by a large wooden relief. There is a soft library corner with light flooring. The rooms are arranged around the library corner, and there is an artificial turf playground on the roof. It is a childcare environment that makes you forget the noise of the city. Within this environment, the wooden round tables, semicircular tables, and wooden chairs from the Nakayoshi Library were chosen as the wooden furniture for the children to use.
Make good use of the table.
At Noborito Yurinoki Nursery School, we use a variety of round tables. The reason they are not rectangular is because everyone sits in a circle, which has the advantage of making it easier to communicate without facing each other. We also use semicircular and round tables to suit the situation.
While changing the use
The hinoki semicircular table comes with four legs as standard, but metal fittings are included so that it can be changed to three legs depending on the number of people sitting on it and the legs do not touch each other.
Two can be put together to make a circle, or separated to make a semicircle. It can be used for many purposes.
Children's lunch room
There are square tables lined up in the lunchroom. You can observe the cooking process in the lunchroom. When we visited, a 5-year-old child was helping out. The children's tables are made of wood, and the surface is coated with natural vegetable oil. Even if moisture adheres to the surface, it repels it, so it does not get dirty easily.
A space to focus
Noborito Yurinoki Nursery School has many places that stimulate children's playfulness, such as a room for reading picture books and a corner for playing house. The library corner, located in the center of the school, is covered with fluffy carpet and looks comfortable. The space with a certain degree of closure seems to increase the concentration required to work on things.
The Nakayoshi Library's wooden play kitchen is also currently being used in the play kitchen corner.
Let your children experience the benefits of using it
When it arrives, the table is clean and shiny. But as you use it, it gets scratched, dented, and the parts that are used frequently get black. Do you think this is a minus? Most nursery furniture can be wiped down quickly and is easy to clean. It's very functional! But do you know what materials are used? Yes, boards covered in glue, and tables with printed paper stuck on them. They're easy to clean and convenient, but once they get scratched, the contents can be seen...
All of the nursery furniture at Nakayoshi Library is made of natural wood. Natural wood starts to deteriorate when it gets scratched or dented. It has just the right amount of softness, and the more you use it, the darker the color becomes, and the oil from the children's hands is a very good moisturizing agent for the wood. The smooth, polished tables are used by many children at Noborito Yurinoki Nursery School.

Shortly after the delivery, we visited the kindergarten. The kindergarten was decorated for Tanabata and was filled with children's wishes!!
