Hinoki lockers to match the new school building
Onodai Kindergarten in Sayama City, Osaka Prefecture. We manufactured lockers, tables, and chairs for the construction of a new building. It is a very large kindergarten. There are many wooden lockers, so we started discussions six months ago.
At the exhibition and sales event at Hankyu Department Store, Osaka
A few years ago, when the structure changed drastically and we were just starting out as Nakayoshi Love Rally, we held an exhibition and sale at Hankyu Department Store in Osaka. We brought wooden nursery furniture, children's furniture, and wooden toys, and many customers came to see them. There we met the couple who run the nursery school, and we have been in contact ever since.
Nursery schools place emphasis on children's experiences
From time to time, the couple would ask us to send them scraps from making furniture. When we went to see what they could make, we saw that their children were making various crafts with the scraps. First, they tried making something themselves. We were happy to see that scraps that we normally discard could be used by children and that they could be transformed into new value.

We were asked to make childcare furniture when a very historic building was demolished and a new building was built. Easy to use locker shape
Because we are moving to a new building, the children are already used to using their current lockers. Also, the school has specific storage spaces for their equipment, so we made the lockers to fit those sizes.

At Onodai Kindergarten, rooms are assigned according to age. With a large class size of 50 children, there are also a lot of lockers. Some daycare centers use lockers for two people due to space restrictions, but because this large space is partitioned, one locker can store one person's tools and clothes. Children can place their things comfortably, making it easy to use. There is more space.
Wooden lockers that can also be used as furniture dividers
At Onodai Kindergarten, the room is divided into two parts. The lockers are tall, so if they are used as a partition, they will stand in the way of the children like a wall. Of course, they are quite heavy, so they will not move easily. There is a lot of wooden furniture on the market, but at Nakayoshi Library, the back board is made of a single piece of cypress. This is very rare, as most furniture is made of plywood or melamine. It also looks very nice.
This is the biggest difference in appearance from other companies. The finish is beautiful and without a single knot.

When choosing various nursery furniture, you may be worried about which manufacturer to order from. Since it is made to order, we can make anything that is physically possible, but as a nursery school, we have a set budget for nursery furniture. About delivery
If we receive a certain number of deliveries to the Kansai area, we will use our own transport to deliver and set up the products. We deliver the products we make with our own hands, and also provide thorough aftercare.
Why do we recommend wooden lockers?
It seems that more and more kindergartens, nurseries, hospitals, etc. are choosing wood over plastic or steel to create spaces for children. When I talk to teachers and directors on-site, they say that wood has an outstanding feel, appearance, and scent.
One of the characteristics of wood that artificial materials do not have is the change over time. The cypress used by Nakayoshi Library is natural wood from Kochi Prefecture. When it is first delivered, the room is filled with the pleasant scent of cypress. Cypress has healing properties. It is difficult to choose only wood for buildings due to various regulations, but it is possible for childcare furniture. Just like having ornamental plants in your room, incorporating wooden items can enrich your mind. In recent years, many local governments have started offering subsidies for the use of wood. There are half-price and full-price subsidies, so the idea that wooden childcare furniture = expensive and unaffordable is gradually crumbling.
Delivery time
The peak season is from October to April. Orders placed during this period will take 2 months to be delivered. For other periods, please allow approximately 1 month for delivery.

The sales representative who meets with the customer will draw up a plan, and the craftsman will make it from scratch.
