About maintenance

Hinoki is a product that becomes more beautiful the more it is polished. Simply wipe it thoroughly with cotton and it will become shiny. This is because the wood contains an ingredient called Hinoki oil, which gives the surface a glossy shine. To make it even more beautiful, soak a cloth in Libos oil once a year and scrub it as if to remove dirt. This will result in a top-quality product. Even if your child no longer uses it and you give it to a friend or relative, I'm sure they will be impressed when they see the well-maintained product.

About installation

By using natural wood and applying a coating that brings out the grain of the wood, the wood continues to breathe even after it is made into a product and delivered to your home. It expands in humid seasons and shrinks when it dries. This is a characteristic of wood that artificial materials do not have. If the shelves are wobbly or the drawers are a little difficult to pull out, this is likely due to wood shrinkage. Please contact Nakayoshi Library if there is a defect at the initial stage.
