There are an increasing number of children who do not crawl much and start standing and walking immediately, but as they grow older they often fall over or are unable to move their hands forward, which causes them to fall and suffer serious injuries.

From the time they are babies, they move around by twisting their bodies, and from a state where they cannot move forward or backward, they start to crawl, and then they get good at crawling using their big toes, and finally they complete the step of walking. Baby walker-like toys can cause this developmental sequence to be skipped. There are pushchairs that make a rattling sound and look like walkers. I don't really recommend these.
