This convenient wooden chair was created in response to a request for wooden chairs that can be stacked for storage, which is highly requested in nurseries and kindergartens. Four chairs can be stacked stably. Made from hinoki cypress, it is light and durable. The chair is painted with a safe and secure oil finish, giving it a moist and beautiful texture.

About the product "Strong assembly method"

There used to be a lot of wooden chairs in Japan. Nowadays, very few wooden chairs are made in Japan, and they have been replaced by mass-produced pipe chairs made from plywood. Also, many chairs made from plywood from Northern Europe and Europe are imported into Japan. This is a wooden chair made in Japan, and made from Japanese cypress. The big difference is that it is not made from plywood, but from logs sawn and crafted one by one by a joiner. In order to give the chairs strength when stacked, wood is combined for the legs and backrest, so that they can withstand force from any direction.

Foreign products use hardwood plywood, so they are very strong but heavy.
Japanese cypress is a coniferous tree that has been used for pillars in Japanese architecture and has been familiar to us for a long time. Because it is a coniferous tree, it is very light, and although not as strong as hardwoods, it is also strong. If you throw it too hard it will break, but if you use it normally it is strong enough, so its light weight is an attractive feature.

When stacking cypress chairs and putting them away, they don't make the high-pitched clanging sound that pipe chairs make. If anything, they make a cute rolling sound, so childcare workers don't get tired. Wood is not as hard as metal chairs, so it has a soft texture, a nice scent, and a pleasant atmosphere. About Shipping

The product is sent in a completed state. We will contact you when it is shipped. Many customers have commented that when it arrives, the wonderful smell of wood creates a wonderful atmosphere in the room. We inspect the product before sending it out. Please check that there are no scratches during shipping before receiving it. Since it is a handmade product, it is not shiny with the urethane finish like industrial products, but the color and luster will improve the more you use it. There may be knots in the wood and traces of handiwork, but please understand that these are not scratches.

Regarding chair height

Although it is common to think of a chair that is one size larger than your child's, we recommend that you choose a chair that is the right height for your child's age. A wooden chair will blend in with the room. Please treat it with care as if it were a member of your family.

About maintenance

Hinoki is a product that becomes more beautiful the more it is polished. Simply wipe it thoroughly with cotton and it will become shiny. This is because the wood contains an ingredient called Hinoki oil, which gives the surface a glossy shine. To make it even more beautiful, soak a cloth in Libos oil once a year and scrub it as if to remove dirt. This will result in a top-quality product. Even if your child no longer uses it and you give it to a friend or relative, I'm sure they will be impressed when they see the well-maintained product.
