Hagumi Children's School in Ibaraki City, Osaka, opened in August 2021. We produced custom-made nursery furniture, including trapezoidal tables and open-type lockers , for the new building, which makes generous use of wood.
From the open entrance hall to the first floor, you will find a floor made of cedar planks. Real wood floors are smooth and dry. They are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It looks like it would be very comfortable to lie down or run around on them.
A new place where children can spend quality time.
You can feel the calm and gentle warmth of wood.
The trapezoidal table installed in the free space on the first floor is popular as a versatile table in childcare facilities where various activities are carried out, from daily life to play. Two or three tables can be combined to create a triangular, hexagonal, or long table. The size of the tabletop and the height of the legs can also be ordered. It is also useful for teachers to work and for parent-teacher talk sessions. The legs are attached with a screwdriver, making it easy to move and store.
Childcare lockers for 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Can be used as a room divider.
This is an open-type locker placed in the middle of the room. The back is also made entirely of cypress wood so that it can be used as a room divider. It is beautiful from any angle and feels smooth to the touch. You can feel the careful handiwork of the craftsmen.
Although the lockers are large and imposing, the natural, gentle color of the wood gives the entire room a bright and gentle atmosphere.
The custom-made lockers installed in the one-year-old's room are L-shaped and have wooden doors . The cute frilly doors are fitted into a wooden frame. They can be opened and closed by lifting them slightly.
The open-type lockers have no backs, so you can take out your belongings from either the inside or outside of the room. This is very convenient as parents can take out their belongings without having to go inside the room. The inside of the lockers has a riser to prevent the luggage from falling to the other side due to excessive force.
If you look at things from a different perspective while thinking about how you use them every day, you will notice something small. Simple, yet stress-free. We value ideas that allow you to use our products comfortably every day.
Introducing the original room plates produced by Nakayoshi Library.
This time, we created a variety of room plates, including the cute logo character for Takatsuki Hagumi Nursery School. We design the pictures from scratch, asking about the image, such as flowers or animals. Once the design is decided, we select the wood species for the parts. At Nakayoshi Library, we use many types of wood, such as Japanese horse chestnut, cherry, chestnut, holly, and zelkova, to create our toys, so we can adjust the color in detail.
The colorful plates are carefully made without any coloring. The thickness of the parts is changed bit by bit to give the picture a three-dimensional look. The toy craftsmen repeat this meticulous process until the wonderful room plates are complete. We, the staff, look forward to the completion of each one, wondering how it will turn out next time.*

Each plate is carefully crafted to be one of a kind. Looking at them will naturally bring a smile to your face. They are sure to warmly welcome children.
The space under the stairs on the first floor has a low ceiling and feels like a hideaway. This space is used beautifully to create a picture book corner. A spacious picture book shelf was created on the wall. It runs along the wall and has plenty of storage space. It can even hold large picture story books.
The picture book shelves are at a height where teachers can sit down and read aloud to the children. The exciting space below the shelves allows students to immerse themselves in the world of picture books.
Children can also have a relaxing and comfortable time here.

After each delivery, we look at the furniture lined up neatly. Seeing the finished product, which contains the thoughts of all the craftsmen who cannot come to deliver, gives us a sense of relief and joy. We hope that the products we deliver will gently support the children's lives here.
