Kotonan Junior High School in Mannou Town. A closed junior high school has been renovated to become a place where local residents can gather. Facilities include a salon where local residents and people from outside the town can interact, a woodworking experience class, a wood education plaza, and a place where people can learn about living things.
Safety-conscious playground equipment for Kotonan Junior High School
The assembled mini house is also different from a ready-made product, and was made specifically for Kotonami Miraikan. It has a round door with a shop-style window and a Pythagoras switch with a rolling wooden ball.
An assembly-friendly mini house with 4 sides that you can play with in different ways. When you open the door, the animals say "Hello" and you can enjoy playing house.
A play house set with a wide variety of play shops
This is a play house corner created by members of the Nakayoshi Library Toy Factory. There are various shops to enjoy.
The bento set comes with plenty of ingredients, such as hamburger steak, rolled omelette, and fried shrimp.
Sushi restaurant set. Soy sauce, wasabi, octopus, and seaweed rolls.
The toppings and rice are fixed with magnets, so you can have fun pretending to be an authentic sushi chef.
The fishmongers also have abalone, octopus, and filleted fish on display.
Bakery set. It comes in a wooden box. You can also make your own hamburger.
A cutting board is also included.
Pizza place
The material used is cypress (hinoki) from Mannou Town.
The playground equipment and toys are made from wood from the local town of Mannou. This is a different procurement method than usual, so it takes time, but with the cooperation of the local sawmill and forestry association, we were able to make them using as much wood from the town as possible.

Plenty of tables, toys and rides
The round table contains basic building blocks . It is a design often used in kindergartens, but it has been a while since I made this. Inside are 200 pieces of basic building blocks.
The 100cm toy shelf is made from local materials and contains picture books and toys . The drawers are also convenient for storing toys.
