The entrance doubles as a wooden kids' space

In March 2021, we delivered solid cypress furniture to Moriguchi Municipal Nijiiro Certified Nursery School in Moriguchi City, Osaka Prefecture. It is a wonderful nursery school building that uses accent colors based on the color of the iris motif, as the name of the school suggests, on the main gate and window frames of the school building.
The soft wooden floor and the spacious, open space make it the perfect place for children to play. The owner had been thinking about creating a space for children to play in the entrance hall for a while, so they decided to create a kids' space using wooden furniture from Nakayoshi Library. This space will also be used for early morning and after-school childcare.
By placing a picture book stand, wooden toys, and a table in a small space, children can freely immerse themselves in the things that interest them and concentrate on playing.
This is a picture book storage shelf recommended for all ages. Since the covers are visible, even children who cannot yet read can see their favorite picture books at a glance. Picture book stands are a popular item in kids' rooms that are used by a wide range of ages.
The four pieces of this long table can be stacked together to save space. Depending on the child's age, they can use it with a chair or sit on the floor . Here, you can imagine them playing with their favorite dolls.
This car set is very popular with children. They can make up their own stories, and the sound of the wood hitting each other is very pleasant.
It can be used to loosely divide a room. By dividing the open entrance slightly , you can easily create a corner (kids' space) . Under the frills (wave pattern), you can play store or use it as part of play.
We were first approached about this project around August of last year. As it is a public nursery school run by the city, we received a request from the local government, using the forest environment donation tax .
Since our founding, Nakayoshi Library has been a manufacturer specializing in children's furniture and toys, and has delivered to many kindergartens and daycare centers. By delivering the furniture we manufacture ourselves, we are able to receive real opinions and ideas from teachers involved in childcare.
