Product Introduction

This is a carp streamer for indoor use.

Using Japanese broad-leaved trees such as horse chestnut (white), zelkova (red), and kaya (yellow), I match the colors of each piece with a sewing machine saw called a jigsaw to create my works. It's a slightly large inlay work. The box is made of cypress. Inside the box are a mast, carp, helmet, and nameplate.



Every year, as May approaches, please take it out of the box and assemble it. This May doll can be used not only as a decoration, but also as a wooden toy. The box is likened to a boat, with the father carp here and the mother carp here, and the carp become characters in the story. Insert the mast into the bottom of the box and display the doll in front. Children will be impressed by the mechanism that allows you to use the back of the box as well. The wood of the carp streamer is made of zelkova, horse chestnut, Japanese zelkova, birch, and chestnut, and you can enjoy the natural and warm color of the wood.

Engrave your loved one's name on the plate

We will engrave your child's name on the plate before delivery. Vertical plates are generally for names only. Horizontal plates may also include names and birthdates.

Nameplates are provided free of charge. You can enter your name, date of birth, and pseudonym.
