Nakayoshi Library's corner tables come in all shapes and sizes, from square to rectangular, and we can even make custom orders for your size. Please use our comfortable tables made from cypress from Kochi Prefecture, which are free of chemical substances.

Safe and secure wooden table

If you go to a furniture store, you will see that there are very few wooden tables. Since they are mass-produced, these solid wood tables are handmade, which means high production costs and they cannot be distributed. In particular, tables made from domestic wood are hard to find because the materials are expensive. The domestic cypress tables that we use are easy to use for children's play and daily life, and we recommend them as they expand their play. We especially recommend using the table when reading and listening to picture books. Wooden tables are also a comfortable place to eat.

Suggestions based on size

We can propose a corner table according to your size. We offer two sizes. You can also choose the height for children aged 1 to 5 years old, so please choose when ordering.

90cm x 60cm rectangular table

This is the size that two children aged 2 to 3 can sit on. It is relatively commonly used in small-scale childcare facilities (mainly for children aged 0 to 2) even in daycare centers. *The photo above is a 60 x 60 square.

120cm x 60cm rectangular table

This is the most commonly delivered size at Nakayoshi Library. It can seat up to six children aged 1 to 5 years old. It is very convenient for everyone to gather together for study or snack time.

140cm x 70cm rectangular table

This size is recommended for use by children of elementary school age or older. It can seat up to 6 people.

Diversity expands with different combinations

Unlike round tables, square tables can be used more widely. Children aged 1 to 2 years old often use them for meals using changeable chairs, while children aged 3 to 5 years old use them in combination with stackable chairs.

Easy to move weight

When it comes to carrying it around, it is important that it is small enough and heavy enough for a woman to move it by herself. A cypress table weighs about 12kg and can be easily carried by one adult.

In nursery schools, corner tables are often used for meals. Tables are very versatile, being used for meals, games, picture books, crafts, and more. A corner table can be used for a long time, even after going to school and becoming an adult, so it can be said to be a necessity.

Made with only natural materials

We use only carefully selected straight grain cypress (parts with minimal warping). We then paint it twice with natural paint (mainly made from linseed oil and perilla oil) and carefully polish it . We hope you will experience the glossy surface that we value most.

Be kind to children

Every single corner is polished by hand, and the polishing and painting are repeated until we are satisfied with the finish. There are many similar products on the market, but when you feel the texture of this product, you will immediately understand the difference with other companies. That is how confident we are in providing "good products."

How to attach and remove the legs

Rotate the legs until they stop moving. When they stop moving, the attachment is complete. To remove them, rotate them in the opposite direction.
