Hello. Yesterday was the last day of March, and today is the beginning of April.
In a normal year, this is the day when students have their entrance ceremony and working adults have their induction ceremony.
Unfortunately, many ceremonies will not be held this year due to the effects of COVID-19.
Nakayoshi Library does not have any new employees this year, but since yesterday the president has been having individual interviews with each employee.
Regarding this year's business plan and what each individual needs to do, I feel a new sense of purpose starting in April!
Well, the Kochi factory is very busy today.
Normally, production would calm down once shipments to kindergartens and daycare centers are completed in March, but this year we are still in the middle of the busy season.
That said, no corners are cut and each piece is carefully assembled, painted to a shiny finish, and delivered to the customer.
Mr. Yoshioka, the staff member in charge of painting, was so busy that he didn't even have time to put on gloves. (laughs)
It's fine because it's made from natural paints! He continued painting without stopping.
Even if you shave wood every day or cut large boards to fit your furniture, the edges will always be left over.
So they are taken to nearby ranches or recycling plants to be used as wood chips or biomass fuel.
Is there any way to utilize this in our own company without waste? It's something to consider.
This is a crayon clock that I made to order the other day.
A customer who came to our exhibition and sales event at the beginning of the year requested our products for a nursery school that was opening in April.
The overall shade is expressed only by the original color of the wood, and it even has a cute star-shaped pendulum.
One of the rewards of my job is being able to create the shape that my customers want and making them happy.
