Hello(^^)/
The other day, I took my 5-year-old daughter to a woodworking class that happened to be held at a local event.
My daughter, who loves making things, was very interested in it!!
With the help of a carpenter,
We made a chair together, tapping away with a hammer (*^-^*)
The carpenter asked me if I wanted to try cutting some wood.
It was a thin log,
Finally, my daughter and I cut down a tree for the first time, using a saw to cut down the tree.
I told him that the chair he had just made was made by cutting down trees growing in the mountains in this way.
I nodded, but...
I wonder how much he understood?
Counting his rings together, he was 13 years old.
After making the chairs, we were given some free rice cakes.
We enjoyed the meal using a chair as a table.
When I got home, I read Douzo no Isu (*^-^*)
I'm thinking that we'll sand the chair we made together on our next day off.
My daughter seemed to enjoy it too, so I'm glad she had a great experience.
My daughter said, "The chair from Mommy's toy shop is so smooth!!" as she compared it to the chair she made.
That's right!! lol
Nakayoshi Library's products are very smooth (^^)/
