Next week is finally the triathlon. I decided to challenge myself to the triathlon this year, and I kept running in the morning, but my legs have started to hurt recently. And there is also a kayaking event, but I haven't even practiced that yet. Will I be okay? I'm going to aim to finish the race!!
Well, yesterday I visited the Kashino Kid's Garden in Amagasaki City. There was a unveiling ceremony for the "Sweet Building Blocks" that I have been making since last year and delivered to Amagasaki City!
In creating the products, the city of Amagasaki gave us two main themes: "Making building blocks using wood from Hyogo Prefecture" and "Creating a picture-story show that clearly shows how Amagasaki receives blessings from the mountains, even though it has no mountains."
I think we've been able to create a great product by working together with the members of Nakayoshi Library, picture book author Ikeya-san, and the printing company.
We asked the teachers at Kashino-Kids Nursery School, who always take care of us, for a favor and we played with the 5-year-old children who were using the sweet-colored building blocks.
Kamishibai presentation (the teacher's reading was excellent)
The children are listening intently.
The children played with them enthusiastically for over an hour. Over the next three years, we will distribute these to nurseries and kindergartens with five-year-olds in Amagasaki City.
Everyone looks like they're having fun!!
After all, building blocks are a plaything that surpasses any other toy. They maximize children's creativity. Because they can be stacked in such an exquisite way? lol See you next time!
