Even though I had a three-day weekend, I was so worried that I couldn't come to a decision, and I started to hate myself. To change my mood, I decided to pick plums from the garden today. This year's harvest is good. I'm going to make plum wine and pickled plums.
Producing store fixtures
We took advantage of the long weekend to produce fixtures for our Kobe store, which had been put on hold for some time.
When I asked for people to help me on weekends, Harada-kun and Aoki-san came to help me. I invited them to yakiniku at night. Only Harada-kun came, but he ate about the same amount as three people lol (unexpected).
Harada-kun has the time today to do the tenon joining, which he doesn't usually do, by hand.
It's fun to discover all sorts of things as you finish the pieces with different materials and paints than usual!!
I'll paint it black with a walnut color. It's been a while since I made something. I can't make something for a customer, but I can make something for a store. It's been a while since I made furniture. It's fun after all.
In this way, the fixtures for the Kobe store were completed in three days. The Kobe store will be open as usual from Monday, May 16th, so we look forward to seeing you there.
