Visit the new building

Hello. Today I would like to introduce you to a business partner.

We headed to Noichihikari Town because Yamawa Lumber, a company in Aki City that we briefly introduced previously, had built a new house.

Green exterior

We immediately had the chance to take a look inside. Yamawa Mokuzai is the sawmill from which Nakayoshi Library always purchases cypress planks. They also have a housing division, and for the first time, they built a model house for the housing exhibition center.

living

I'm currently renting as well. I don't have any particular preference whether I rent or buy my own home, but my current concerns are condensation in the winter and no storage space for clothes. So I only own the bare minimum. If I were to get a bigger house, I'd want more storage space... I'd like a wooden deck, I'd like to be able to watch the goats from the living room, I'd like a bath, wooden floors are good, high ceilings are good, I'd like to make all the furniture myself, a wooden kitchen is good, it's better if it's warm in the winter, it's okay if it's hot in the summer, I'd like to be able to walk to work if possible, I'd like it to be connected to the fields... And on and on, the list of wishes just keeps on coming.

So, houses, furniture, interior design, and things like that are in season for me right now. So, it was a really good day.

Yamawa Mokuzai's houses are made from natural materials, so when you enter the house there is no unpleasant chemical smell and it feels very pleasant.

I can really relate to making furniture, houses, and toys out of real wood.

If I'm going to make something, I want it to be the real thing. I'm the type of person who wants to stick to the real thing even if it costs a little more.

The stairs are made of cedar, which is something you often see in sawmills. Real wood is great. The floors are made of pine.

Children's room on the second floor

We visited the children's room on the second floor. It's so cute!!

And in one corner of this room, there is a Nakayoshi Library.

I was told that I could put some furniture in there (゚Д゚)

I'm so happy!! Thank you so much for your suggestion!!

We are still not well known in the prefecture.

Would you like to create a children's room at Nakayoshi Library? We can guide you. Tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday. I think many customers will come.

I hope you all will go and check it out.
