We have started selling clothes for dolls online.
Good evening. Today, I tried making lunch with a rocket stove for the first time in a while. I try my best to make delicious and interesting food to talk to everyone about.

Today, the clothes for the doll I ordered arrived. They arranged for sewing and fabric locally in Sri Lanka, and delivered it in less than a month. They work so fast. Interested ** Online sales have already started, and orders will be shipped in order of pre-orders * It's a popular item, so hurry up ♪ It's also sold at the Kobe store, so if you're nearby, please come and see it for yourself *
These days, production systems for wooden furniture and toys are struggling.
Nakayoshi Library regularly visits trade fairs overseas, and if we find any good products, we import them to Japan. In particular, our huggable dolls, recommended as gifts for newborns and birthdays, have many fans. However, we didn't have any dolls that could be dressed up, and customers had been begging us to make them, so we're relieved that we've made them. Now we just have to see if they sell... If someone buys one, I'll be very happy lol
Meanwhile, as for the state of our own manufacturing, thanks to the fact that we have received more orders than usual, we have a two-month wait time for delivery of wooden toys and furniture. If the delivery time is two months, the situation that you thought you wanted for your baby now may change in two months. That's what's possible. (Actually, it's bound to happen.) So, we have to somehow improve our own manufacturing system to keep up with the volume of orders. That's what I'm thinking every day.

To increase production volume... there are several ways to do this - hiring more staff, extending hours (overtime), installing new machines, and outsourcing - but I think it's important to use a combination of these methods rather than limiting yourself to one. In particular, increasing staff numbers may seem like something you should do only when demand is high, so won't that cause problems later? But the idea here is a little different. The more people you have, the more you can do, which means the scope of your sales will expand. (We're glad that we already have that many people here**)

Of course, as the number of employees increases, the burden per person decreases, which means less overtime and easier paid leave, which are good things. In addition, for example, someone who was in charge of manufacturing can work in sales, launch a new store, and the skills they have acquired in manufacturing can be put to good use in other departments. The more people there are, the more ideas there are, so Nakayoshi Library is where employees come up with ideas for new products and new projects, and we hope to continue to develop them so that the products they come up with can be brought to market.
In the past, I thought that increasing the number of people meant increasing expenses, but... (I'm embarrassed to admit it) I think that now is the time to put that thought aside and invest in employment, even if it means making some sacrifices. As strangers, there will be differences of opinion and conflicts, but that's normal in a long corporate career. If you can overcome those differences and grow as a person, there's nothing better.
We have new members, the factory is more lively, and we are able to do more. The next step is to create a store that will be continuously supported by our customers. It's a fun journey! We will also shorten the delivery time!
Tomorrow is my 35th birthday. Happy birthday! See you soon.
