This is the Riguru study desk, produced by Nakayoshi Library, a specialty store for wooden toys and children's furniture. This product has been stripped of all unnecessary elements and packed with attention to detail into a simple design. It is a study desk that you will want to keep and use for the rest of your life, from when you start elementary school, through to adulthood. It can be used as a study desk or for work in your study. It is a high-quality product for children that is made from 100% domestic materials and contains vegetable oils that are safe to put in your mouth.

A study desk that can be used even by adults
Study desk [Riguru]
We have created a cute study desk for adults. The legs are tapered (the legs get thinner as they go down) and have a light and cute finish. Cherry wood is used for the drawers as an accent.
The legs are slim and rounded to reduce weight, and are attached all the way to the edge of the tabletop to ensure a wide seating area.
Photo from the back. It is possible to add a power outlet to the back. Please select this when ordering. An additional 3,300 yen (tax included) will be charged.
Cherry wood drawers as accents
It can store an A4 size laptop and an A4 binder side by side. It cannot store bulky items, but you can sit at your desk with a clear head. The front panel of the drawer is made of cherry wood as an accent.

Round legs
The round legs are made by cutting out square pieces of cypress lumber. The way they get thinner towards the bottom makes them look very beautiful when viewed from a distance. A line is added to the boundary with the tabletop to give the design more definition.

The desk [RIGURU] has a thin tabletop thickness of 18mm, and is made simple by removing as many functions as possible. The surface of the desk is polished by craftsmen many times to make it smooth. The scent of cypress also fills the room.
Can be used by adults too
When the color changes, the color of the front panel of the cherry blossom drawer blends in well with the surrounding cypress, settling into the same color tone. It is designed to be used continuously even as an adult.
A typical desk is purchased when a child starts elementary school. It can be used for a dozen years after that. All cypress desks are made of real wood. If you take good care of it and maintain it, it will last a lifetime.
Convenient Power Outlets
With the possibility of working on a computer or doing homework on a tablet in mind, you can choose whether or not to install a dual-socket outlet on your study desk.
Use it for desk work. It provides ample space for A4 writing on your laptop.
Even if you place it close to the wall, there is a notch so that the cord will not get caught. [Note] If you do not have a power outlet, there will be no notch on the top plate. Please note this in advance.
A hook for hanging a bag on a study desk
When ordering, please choose the location of the bag hook. It can also be placed on either side.
About delivery
The product will be shipped semi-assembled. You will need to unpack it and bolt the main body and legs together. (A wrench is included). It can be carried by one adult. Many customers have commented that the pleasant scent of wood gives the room a great atmosphere .
Please check that there are no major scratches on the cardboard box before accepting the package.

口に入れても安全な塗料を使用
なかよしライブラリーの製品は天然塗料または無塗装の状態で使っていただきます。
塗料は植物油を主原料にした安全性が高い塗料です。赤ちゃんが口に入れても塗料が溶け出すこともなく、家具に塗られた有機溶剤で身体に害を及ぼす危険性もありません。永く愛用していただくにつれ、飴色に変化し、艶が良くなります。
赤ちゃんが使っても安全な品質をお約束します。
木材の特徴
木製品はお客様のお宅に届いた後も呼吸を繰り返すと言われています。
湿気の多い時期には膨らみ、乾燥すると収縮します。木の乾燥は十分に行っているのですが、稀に木のおもちゃの箱に亀裂が入ったり、家具の引出しが少し抜けにくかったりといった動きが見られる場合があります。

自然に還る取り組み
なかよしライブラリーでは環境への配慮として資源の有効利用に取り組んでいます。製作過程で出る端材やおがくずは全て再利用しております。
また、できる限りお客様宅でゴミが残らないようにエアキャップ（プチプチ）は使用しない簡易梱包を原則にしております。
